Relocation apartments for Vores Bolig (Our Home)

This temporary housing complex has been built as relocation apartments for the housing association’s department on Nygade in Helsinge. The building consists of 28 modules of the Maxi Flex type, which together create 14 functional and inviting homes for the residents during a period when their permanent homes are being renovated.

The apartments are divided into 12 three-room apartments and two handicap-accessible two-room apartments, all with a size of 65 m². The modules are set up in four separate housing blocks, where all blocks are equipped with ramps, which ensure level-free access and make it easy for wheelchair users and people with reduced mobility to get in and out of their apartment. In this way, the building is accessible to everyone and creates a safe environment for everyday life.

The layout of the apartments is well-thought-out and functional. Each home has an entrance hall with storage space, a spacious kitchen/living room, a bathroom with toilet, and one to two comfortably sized bedrooms. The materials are carefully selected to ensure a healthy and comfortable indoor climate, where light, ventilation and acoustics support a good and peaceful home environment – even in a temporary home.

Externally, the housing complex appears stylish and modern with anthracite gray profiled boards on the facade and roofing felt on the roof surfaces. The choice of materials gives a robust and maintenance-friendly look, which at the same time feels warm and harmonious in relation to the surroundings.

The project has been carried out by ABC Pavilloner’s own people, who have ensured both high quality, efficient process and respect for the schedule. The result is a housing complex that combines flexibility, comfort and functionality: created to give residents a safe, good environment in a temporary period, where their permanent homes are being updated.
